The Virtual Access GW1042W Series router is\u00a0a compact and rugged 4G\/LTE router designed\u00a0with a metal housing. It enables\u00a04G\/LTE or 3G HSPA+ connectivity in a wide\u00a0range of applications including smart grid,\u00a0SCADA, auto-recloser and remote asset monitoring.<\/p>\n
The product is equally at home offering primary WAN, 4G\/LTE failover to fixed line via\u00a0one of the onboard Ethernet ports. Its small\u00a0size is ideal applications where space is at a\u00a0premium. The GW1042W Series router offers\u00a0a new entry point for 4G\/LTE data applications\u00a0but still supports all the legacy access\u00a0technologies: HSPA+, HSPA, UMTS, EDGE,\u00a0GPRS and GSM.<\/p>\n

\nThe GW1042W Series router offers two\u00a010\/100Mbps Ethernet interfaces. They can be\u00a0configured as a single interface with Ethernet\u00a0switching between them or as separate router\u00a0interfaces.<\/p>\n
\nThe GW1042W Series router supports\u00a0category 4 LTE, which has a maximum\u00a0downstream speed of 150Mbps and a\u00a0maximum upstream speed of 50Mbps.<\/p>\n
\nDual SIM architecture ensures that a backup\u00a03G or LTE network can take over should the\u00a0primary network fail. The router detects a\u00a0network problem and fails over to a standby\u00a0SIM\/APN.<\/p>\n
\nThe GW1042W Series router also supports\u00a0SMS, so if the packet switched side of the\u00a0network is down, you can send commands to\u00a0the router to perform diagnostics or even a\u00a0reload.<\/p>\n
\nThe GW1042W Series router has two external SMA female connectors for integrated WiFi support. It is capable of supporting both Access Point mode and Station mode concurrently if required.<\/p>\n
\nA bracket is included that enables simple\u00a0mounting. The bracket can be clipped onto a\u00a0DIN rail for industrial applications.<\/p>\n
